A made-to-order cushion crafted from one of our favourite kangas, WAWILI WAKIPENDANA. 

Each cushion is made from a kanga pair, allowing the striking central motif to appear uninterrupted on both the front and back. Inspired by the expressive visual language of the kanga, the cushions bring together textile, story, and home.

The kanga carries the msemo:

“WAWILI WAKIPENDANA ADUI HANA NAFASI”
(“When two people love one another, an enemy has no place.”)

Bold, vibrant, and deeply symbolic, the design transforms a beloved Tanzanian kanga into a piece intended for everyday life.
