A few weeks ago, we featured Khanga by Safara: A Digital Art Series, where digital collage artist and graphic designer Safara Wanjagi explored khanga/kanga through the lens of her distinctive collage style. At the time, she hinted at a special project that would build on the series — and we’re so excited that it’s here: the Season by Season 2026 planner.

“This planner has been my passion project for the year. I wanted to create something that feels both practical and personal, in my usual African aesthetic style,” says Safara.

Inspired by khanga fabric and East African proverbs, the planner is available in four distinct cover designs drawn from her Khanga by Safara art series — and divides the year into four seasons, each paired with a proverb and a colouring page. Inside, monthly sections offer space for budgeting, habit tracking, reflection and gratitude — blending structure with creative mindfulness.

The Season by Season planner is now available at the Chilli x PopUp concept store at Geco Café, Lavington.
